DURAFLEX® Type H-5 METAL HOSE
Duraflex® H-5 is an extremely flexible, convoluted, pressure tight metal hose which exhibits prolonged resistance to vibration, heat, and pressure.
Features:
The single layer of 1 over 1 under weave of flat bronze wire is further protected by the second layer of the same material and weave. This double braiding provides approximately 50% more pressure handling capacity than that of a single braid. The flat bronze wire provides increased resistance to abrasion and provides rigid support.
Application:
Fluids, Electrical Wiring Protection, Abrasion Resistance, Non-Sparking, and Electrical Continuity.
Construction:
Inner core -Brass; Braid – 2 Layers Flat Bronze Wire;
Braid Weave – 1st Layer (1 over x 1 under), 2nd layer (1 over x 1 under).
Fittings:
Customers may specify from a wide range of fittings to satisfy electromagnetic hermetic sealing, high temperature, self-locking, or other requirements. Typically, end fittings for industrial applications are made of brass; however, more severe operating environments may call for fittings constructed of other materials.
